For established music creators, Professional membership provides the highest level of support, representation and value.

How does membership pay for itself?

Core and Professional members receive access to exclusive discounts and savings through the member benefits platform.

Members can save around £1,400 a year on everyday spending each year through discounts on everyday spending, professional services, technology, travel and more.

Alongside the advice, support, resources and opportunities available through membership, the value can far exceed the annual cost.

Do Core or Professional members have access to the community forum?

The community forum is a dedicated place for songwriters and composers to stay connected online. As a member, you now have access to a new network of music writers; ready to share ideas, spark inspiration and support your journey, whenever you need it.

Core and Professional members can access the forum by logging into the members area. Once logged in, simply navigate to the community forum.

What events can I attend once I have upgraded?

Core and Professional members can attend member events for free. This includes online events, such as panel discussions and in conversations, as well as in person member events.

The Ivors Academy runs over 30 member events in a year, including:

What insurance and professional support do members receive?

Core and Professional membership comes with automatic equipment and public liability insurance, providing peace of mind whether you’re in the studio, writing, recording or performing.

Each tier has a different level of coverage. Once you have upgraded it's easy to claim your insurance certificate, with instructions on the members area.

Core and Professional members also gain access to legal and accounting referral service, connecting them with professionals experienced in the music industry for guidance on legal or accounting matters relating to their professional creative work.
